We offer English playgroups, children's classes, teenage courses, adult English lessons and private tuition for learners of all ages and abilities.

Classes We offer a Parents & Tots group and over 20 different classes for learners from 3 years old to adult. We welcome both native and good English speakers as well as those with little or no previous knowledge of English: Parents & Tots Playgroup Classes Reading and Writing Classes English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Classes Examination Classes Private Classes for Children and Adults As we offer so many different levels of classes we can ensure that each child is placed in both an age and ability-appropriate class. The E S P does not work with set curricula for most of the classes. This allows us to meet the needs of each individual learner whilst enabling them to reach a particular level of proficiency by the end of the school year. English as a Foreign Language Timetable, Fees and Levels 26/27 Our English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classes in Bern provide a fun and engaging way for children to learn English. Through project work, songs, games, stories and crafts, we create a motivating and enjoyable environment that helps learners develop confidence and communication skills in English. We offer English classes for complete beginners as well as for children who already understand some English but do not speak English at home. Lessons are carefully adapted to each child's age, ability and level of English, ensuring that every learner can progress at their own pace. Our experienced teachers support children in developing their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills while fostering a positive attitude towards language learning. Book List

Reading & Writing Our Reading & Writing classes in Bern help children develop the four core English language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Lessons are both challenging and enjoyable, with activities designed to strengthen oral communication, reading comprehension and written expression from beginner to advanced levels. These English classes are ideal for children who speak English at home, are growing up bilingually, or already have a strong level of English fluency. Through engaging and age-appropriate learning activities, students build confidence and accuracy in both spoken and written English. Private Classes Our private English lessons in Bern are taught by experienced English teachers and tailored to meet the individual needs, goals and learning styles of each student. We offer one-to-one English tuition for children, teenagers and adults at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. Whether you are looking to improve your spoken English, prepare for an examination, strengthen your writing skills or build confidence in everyday communication, our teachers provide personalised support and guidance. Private lessons for children usually last 45 or 60 minutes. For adults, lessons are typically offered in 60, 90 or 120-minute sessions, although alternative lesson lengths can be arranged to suit individual requirements. Parents & Tots Parents & Tots usually meets on alternate Thursday mornings during term time from 09:15 to 11:15. The group is informally led in English by an experienced Early Learners teacher and welcomes children up to 3 years old, regardless of their English language ability. The sessions provide a happy, relaxed and supportive environment for both parents and children. Activities may include crafts, singing and story time, alongside plenty of opportunities for free and imaginative play with our wide range of toys, games and dressing-up clothes. Children remain the responsibility of their parent or caregiver at all times during the session, and adults are encouraged to participate in group activities and play.
